Jason has performed over 13,000 inspections in the past 20 years. He is Past President of The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Jason has construction engineering experience, a bachelors degree, is a NYS licensed Mold Assessor, former member of The National Radon Safety Board and is one of the longest serving inspectors in the Capital Region. Jason is also an investor that grew up in a Real Estate family and finds himself at home teaching, protecting and helping.

Jonathan Adams has great perspective and spent 18 months as a protege before even obtaining his license several years ago. This gave Jon a wide range of experience in a short amount of time. He is a study of the Art of Home Inspections. Different than many of "todays" inspectors, Jason is part of the old school, where we apprenticed for over a year with other inspectors before we hung out our shingle (web page). Jon has followed suit.

With so much technology , new inspection software just keeps coming to market.
The issue is that many new softwares are so involved that the information gets lost. We consistently hear from others that some inspectors reports are so cumbersome that its hard for buyers, agents and attorneys to know if there are concerning or even negotiable concerns.
We keep it strong , yet simple. Our report BEGINS with summary page that clearly defines any Major issues, as well as the Safety items, Maintenance items and Monitor items. No more guesswork.
The report is what you use the most after the inspection.

Sure , we experimented over the years, with fancy full color photo and text reports, but experience and feedback brought us to the house specific narrative reports we use today.
